As we enter into a new year, it's always fun to take a look back at what 2024 had in store for the local market!

First, let’s take a quick peek at how we wrapped up the final month of the year compared to what we saw in December of 2023:

Across the state, we saw an increase in the number of units sold, the total sales volume as well as the average sales price - all pointing to a continuing healthy market. However, we did start to see homes sit on the market for a bit longer than we had been used to. Average days on the market increased by almost 50%, up to 13 days. This is still a very short length of time, but sellers certainly felt the change in the additional time spent on the market and buyers were able to benefit from no having everything go under contract within the first few days on the market.
