Noteworthy Highlights:
• June is typically one of the busiest months for the real estate market, so to see new listings down so significantly tells us we're in for another competitive summer! This month, we saw the
number of new listings shrink by over 21% year over year - in line with what we've been seeing due to the ongoing concerns over the economy and mortgage interest rates.
• Along with lower inventory, we're continuing to see our Median Sales Price increase - it went up by over 4.5% year over year, which is certainly not helping with housing affordability.
• Down over 30% from June of last year, the number of closed homes saw a significant drop, which is to be expected and will continue to be the case as long as inventory remains down as well. Year to date, the number of closed homes is down 23.5% throughout the state from last year's numbers.
